A Bold Little Loo

This bold little loo might be compact, but it’s full of intent. Custom cabinetry, built by our very own handyman, is finished in Farrow & Ball Pavilion Grey — understated, grounding, and just a bit posh. We paired it with medium-sized matte grey subway tiles from Topps Tiles, laid in a classic herringbone pattern because, frankly, straight felt too safe.

Brass and onyx handles sourced from Etsy add polish and texture, while Graham & Green’s fern wallpaper brings the drama (as any downstairs loo should). But what makes this room truly personal? Hidden in the styling: portraits of the homeowner’s great-great-grandparents and an image of the land before their home was built.

A powder room with layers — of pattern, history, and personality. Good Rooms is not conflicted.
